Thank you for your interest in our river journeys and adventure vacations. I am Shane Turnbull, the owner and primary trip leader of Chinook Expeditions. At Chinook Expeditions we conduct a variety of 1-14 day Whitewater rafting adventures, natural history/wildlife float tours, and custom fishing trips. Our year around river tours follow the seasonal rhythms of the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges of Washington state. We explore the historic frontiers of British Columbia. We also conduct exclusive 5-10 day Hawaiian Wilderness Adventures with small groups of clients every winter at our Maui mountain retreat. Since 1974, our legendary trips have provided outstanding opportunities for people from all walks of life to experience some of the wildest and most scenic places on earth.
