Our guide school philosophy is based on the art of teaching all levels of river expedition skills through personalized instruction, which allows participants the opportunity to maximize time on the river and to define and reach their own goals. Our Spring Program is structured to provide five overnight weekends with an optional 8 day wilderness expedition during the final week of the course. The principals that underlie our safe, professional approach to training and use of quality equipment will help you develop your full potential as a private boater or professional trip leader. | |

We cover a variety of topics fundamental to professional guiding skills with certificates of completion after each course. Chinook Expeditions also invites adventurous paddlers to join us and expand their horizons by participating in exploratory trips to yet unseen regions of British Columbia and Hawaii.
