Preparation for a

Chinook Expedition Adventure Trip

 

At Chinook Expeditions we provide the following on all our trips:

 

     Highly trained and professional guides and staff

     State of the art river and safety equipment

     Waterproof bags and camera boxes

     USGS Highfloat lifejackets and whitewater helmets

     Comfortable farmer-john style wet suits and river booties

     A hearty riverside feast, freshly prepared

     Van or bus shuttle from our rendezvous

     Definitely the longest trip on the river

 

You need to bring:

 

    Swimsuit or lightweight shorts (Lycra or nylon) to wear beneath wet suit

    Polar fleece, acrylic or wool sweater (warm when wet)

    Wool or nylon socks to wear inside booties

     Rain jacket or splash gear with pants

     Extra sweater and warm hat on colder days

     Complete change of clothes for after trip

     Plastic bag for wet clothes

     Retainer or string for glasses

    Camera

     Sunscreen and sunglasses

     Rendezvous information and your own road map
